Description
58 year old male desired correction of his neck sagging. This is also known as a turkey gobbler neck, and makes the neck appear prematurely aged. Dr. Weinrach corrected this with a direct neck lift TZ plasty. This took about one hour and a half as an outpatient procedure. This surgery for men has much less downtime compared to a tradional face and neck lift, uses considerably less operating room and anesthesia time than a tradional neck and facelift, which all results in considerably less cost. This technique is also more powerful than a traditional neck lift, producing even better neck contour. The tradeoff is a scar on the midline of the neck, which in most men heals extremely nicely and eventually becomes hardly visible. The appearance of the scar at one month is demonstrated in this case. After pictures are one month postoperative.
