Description

16 year old male desired correction of his prominent ears.  He had a bilateral otoplasty, sometimes referred to as “ear pinning”.  However much more is done than simply “pinning” the ear back.  The fold in the ear cartilage, called the antihelical fold, is improved with sutures; extra conchal cartilage is removed, the conchal cartilage as well as the ear lobe were both set back with sutures.  After pictures are six weeks postoperative.
