Injectable Wrinkle Reduction

There are now a number of available injecteables for facial wrinkle reduction. They are popular, well-known, and safe treatments that are designed to improve wrinkles and fine lines on the face in a manner that is non-invasive with no downtime.

These injectables work by preventing contraction of muscles in the face that cause wrinkling.  After injection, these wrinkles disappear within days.  This treatment smooths the skin and tends to slow down the formation of more fine lines in the future.

Dr. Weinrach personally administers all injections in his office.  Most injection sessions take less than 20 minutes, and patients are immediately able to resume their day.  Activity is kept light for 24 hours.

Patients typically start to see the results of injectable wrinkle treatments within three days after treatment, sometimes sooner. The end results are usually present for up to six months. Patients love to come back to Dr. Weinrach’s office not only due to his professionalism and kind disposition, but also find his gentle injection technique and extensive understanding of facial anatomy to be impressive and second to none.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are a common non-invasive treatment method used to correct wrinkles and add volume to the face.  They are much more effective than older collagen fillers and the results of a dermal filler injection such as Restylane® or Juvéderm® can be seen immediately. Both fillers are comprised of hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring substance that is found in human skin.

As hyaluronic acid filler components are natural and lack animal proteins, the possibility of an allergic reaction to these fillers is almost nonexistent.  Dermal fillers are effective at giving additional volume to the face, filling out creases and folds, and can be used augment the lips to present a younger-looking and aesthetically pleasing face.

Normal daily activities can be resumed immediately after treatment.  In general, hyaluronic acid fillers remain effective for a few months to one year.  Juvéderm® Voluma can last up to two years.  Bellafill® can last up to 5 years.
