Description

73 year old male desired improvement of his deep nasolabial folds.  This patient did not have a facelift, as facelift will not improve this problem.  Fat grafting and fillers can help soften nasolabial folds, but can be inadequate for a very deep male nasolabial fold.  A very good option for deep nasolabial folds in men is to excise them.  The deep folds are replaced by very acceptable scars which appear much better than the original folds.  After pictures are approximately 5 months postoperative.  The scars continue to improve with time.
