Description
A long upper lip (the distance from the bottom of the nose to the pink part of the lip) is a telltale sign of aging. This is an often overlooked area of facial rejuvenation. Adding filler to the lip to increase volume does not shorten this distance. A lip lift is a very powerful procedure to shorten the upper lip and rejuvenate the face. This can be done as an outpatient procedure in the office under local anesthesia or combined with a facelift. This 64 year old woman had an outpatient, in office lip lift. There was no filler placed into her lip. After pictures are 9 months postoperative.
