Male Breast Reduction-Gynecomastia

Overdeveloped breasts in men, known as Gynecomastia, is a common condition. It can develop in one or both breasts. Most men who develop it early can outgrow it, but for those who do not it can be a traumatizing cause of teasing or low self-confidence.  There are a variety of surgical options to accomplish male breast reduction depending on the situation.  During the procedure a small incision is made and excess glandular tissue and skin is removed. In some cases, liposuction may also be used to removed any extra fatty tissue.  In more severe cases, removal of skin may be necessary.  The resulting chest is more flat, toned and masculine looking.
